Family Practice Physician - Watertown Family Practice Associates
WFPA will offer a competitive salary and benefit package for the first year and an opportunity to become a partner in the second year. The clinic is located across the street from Watertown Memorial Hospital and consists of four banks of three exam rooms in two separate corridors. Other rooms include a minor procedure room, casting room, x-ray and lab. A complete interior redecoration is planned for summer of 2007. The business office files claims electronically and scheduling is computerized. The clinic is planning a transition to electronic medical records in the near future.
WFPA is affiliated with Watertown Memorial Hospital a 100-bed, not-for-profit community owned hospital. Last year we had 2,461 admissions, 339 births, and 17,000 ER visits. The emergency room is staffed 24 hours with board-certified emergency physicians and also provides an urgent care clinic. The medical staff of 45 consists of primary care physicians and a variety of specialists drawing from a primary service area of 26,000 and a secondary service area of 24,000.
