Watertown Area Health Services' has officially changed its name to UW Health Partners Watertown Regional Medical Center. The partnership with UW Health will significantly enhance local access to medical specialists, clinical programs and health research. The organization is changing its name to UW Health Partners Watertown Regional Medical Center to better reflect the enhanced medical capabilities available locally.

The partnership aligns our local hospital and physician network with the extensive resources of UW Health. The partnership has already enhanced local health services through the provision of advanced heart and vascular capabilities (including cardiac catheterization) and maternal fetal medicine specialty care in Watertown as well as comprehensive cancer care services at the UW Cancer Center in Johnson Creek..
Kosanovich explains that the medical center and its affiliated physicians will continue to accept the same insurance plans.. While affiliated to improve clinical programming, Watertown Regional Medical Center will remain an independent medical provider, governed by a local community board of directors. "While our name is changing, our commitment to providing patients with personalized, compassionate care remains strong, We look forward to serving the region's health needs for many generations to come," he said.
