Joint Replacement and Revision Services
Affecting one in seven Americans, arthritis is a serious disease causing pain and swelling in the joints. Left untreated, this pain can compromise quality of life and force active persons to alter their lifestyles. Thanks to advances in orthopedic techniques, joint replacement surgery can reduce stiffness and pain.

At Centers for Bone and Joint Health, we first establish an accurate diagnosis using clinical expertise and advanced diagnostic technology. We develop a care plan that fits the needs of each patient suffering from joint discomfort or pain.

When surgical intervention is needed, our board-certified orthopedic surgeons are proficient in the latest techniques. Our team of orthopedic nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and case managers are dedicated to improving the patient's quality of life and returning him/her to full function. Our joint replacement program uses a patient-centered team approach to produce outstanding clinical and patients satisfaction results. Our care team is integrated from the pre-operative education to the hospital stay to outpatient or home health care.
Pre-operative Education
Education for the patient and the caregiver begins when to decision to pursue joint replacement surgery is made. Each patient receives a Joint Replacement Handbook to use guide during the process.

All patients and their caregiver are encouraged to attend our Total Joint Education class at least a week or two prior to surgery. This class includes information about preparing your home, adaptive equipment for home use, pain management, and exercises for rehabilitation.

This education program teaches patients and caregivers what to expect while in the hospital and upon returning home. With this education, patients recover more quickly and return to daily activities with regained confidence, strength, and independence.
Hospital Care
While in the hospital, you will have nursing care and assessment 24 hours per day, plus physical and occupational therapy restore your activity level. Centers for Bone and Joint Health is committed to providing a positive healing environment. Our patient satisfaction scores have consistently scored in the 10% of hospitals nationwide.
