At your first physical therapy visit, a licensed physical therapist will evaluate your conditions. Together, you will develop goals and a treatment plan to help alleviate your problem.

Your treatments may include soft tissue massage, joint movement to increase range of motion, exercises to improve strength, posture instruction and/or various supports and braces.

Talk you your doctor if you think you would benefit from physical therapy.

We may be able to help put you on the road to enjoying your new role in life!

During Pregnancy
As your baby grows and changes, it is common for you to experience some of the following conditions. If these conditions interfere with your ability to complete your work, household tasks or leisure activities, physical therapy may be beneficial.

Back pain
Groin pain
Neck pain/headaches
Numbness or tingling into arms or hands
Foot/ankle pain
Leg pain, numbness or swelling


After Delivery
Some of these conditions persist even after your baby is born. If these conditions are still present six weeks after delivery, physical therapy may be beneficial.

Back pain
Groin pain
Neck pain/headaches
Numbness or tingling into the arms or legs
Foot/ankle pain
Loss of urine
Incisional pain (from C-section
or episiotomy)

Pain with intercourse Your physician will make a referral to physical therapy if it is
necessary for you.
